Eastern Washington Budget Requests

I am firmly committed to advancing what is important to Eastern Washington.  When requesting specific budget projects, my process adheres to the gold standard  of  transparency and accountability.

When seeking budget items, I only submit projects that are a priority for the country and a worthwhile expenditure of taxpayer funds. Further, top priority is given to authorized projects.  I am against wasteful spending.  All the requests submmitted are done to the highest standards and meet one or more of the following goals: 

• Keeping our communities and nation safe
• Building upon a regional transportation infrastructure
• Growing Eastern Washington’s agriculture and resource economy through increased resaerch investment
• Developing a robust 21st Century workforce 
• Increasing access to quality, affordable health care especially in rural areas
