Healthcare roundtable spokane
Health Care Roundtable in Spokane

President Obama’s health care law has put tremendous strain on our health care system — on patients, doctors, nurses, and hospitals.

We should replace the current law with common-sense, market-based solutions to increase health care access and lower costs for all Americans.

We should allow businesses to pool together to purchase insurance, permit insurance to be sold across state lines, and limit junk lawsuits.

We should also promote healthier lifestyles, deploy new health technologies, and expand access to care in rural areas. That’s what the American people want and deserve.

I support legislation to accelerate the discovery and development of new treatments and cures. The bipartisan 21st Century Cures Act will help to modernize and personalize health care, encourage greater innovation, support research, and streamline the system to deliver better, faster cures to more patients.
