Bill Passed to Support Veteran Entrepreneurs
One of the biggest challenges I hear from veterans in Eastern Washington is finding meaningful employment after retiring from active-duty military service. I believe it is critical to ensure that those who selflessly served our nation have access to every resource needed to achieve the American Dream.
That’s why I helped pass the Veteran Entrepreneurship Training Act this week in the House of Representatives. This important piece of legislation will provide entrepreneurship training to veterans who want to start their own business.
I’m confident that this bill will help bridge the employment gap and open up new doors of opportunity for those who have sacrificed so much to defend our freedom. Now, my hope is that the Senate takes swift action so we can send this bill to the president’s desk to become law!
