Fighting Biden’s ‘Ministry of Truth’

If you read George Orwell’s famous 1984 as a kid in school, then you’re probably familiar with the Ministry of Truth – the fictional agency tasked with determining what is and isn’t “truth.” Apparently, President Biden really loved the book (or never read it) because he just created his own Ministry of Truth here in the United States.

This alarming attempt to control speech is behavior you’d expect from a dictator ruling by fear, not the President of the United States. It’s a blatant effort to censor Americans, and it cannot be tolerated. That’s why I joined my Republican colleagues in voting to defund this “Disinformation Governance Board” and protect free speech.

Unsurprisingly, House Democrats blocked it. So today, I led my colleagues demanding answers.

Because the American people have a right to know if Big Tech companies plan to help President Biden and Democrats carry out their censorship mission, and I’m committed to finding out. In the meantime, I will continue doing everything I can to protect your Constitutionally protected free speech with everything I’ve got.
