Fighting to Stop Unconstitutional Vaccine Mandates

Health Care

One thing is crystal clear: President Biden does not trust the American people to make their own health care decisions. He’s proved it by tripling down on his authoritarian approach to combating COVID-19 and mandating vaccines for health care providers, private businesses, and federal employees.

From the beginning, I’ve strongly opposed all of these mandates. They are not how we end this pandemic, and I have been fighting them by:

  • Introducing legislation to overturn the OSHA vaccine mandate for private businesses;
  • Leading to repeal the CMS vaccine mandate for Medicare and Medicaid providers; and
  • Signing on to an amicus brief to tell the court I oppose vaccine mandates on federal workers and contractors.

The good news is that the Supreme Court has indicated President Biden’s vaccine mandate for private employers is unconstitutional, and we are making great progress to overturn the mandate on federal workers! But our fight is far from over.

Mandates driven by fear and control do not make our country safer or healthier. This type of thinking is as un-American as it gets, and it is the very definition of government overreach. You can rest assured knowing that I will not stop until these mandates are permanently brought to an end!
