SPOKANE, WA – Yesterday, Eastern Washington Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers (WA-05) toured the Inland COVID-19 Response Command Center to get an update on the ongoing local response to COVID-19. She also released a video thanking first responders for their work on the front lines of this public health crisis. Watch the full video here: 

 
As Cathy said, “To everyone who’s here, thank you! Thank you for your tireless actions, for your bravery, for your compassion, for doing everything you can to save lives in this battle. I know that it’s meant time away from your families. It’s meant a great deal of stress and little sleep, too. Your sacrifice is giving us hope, and we don’t let that go unnoticed.”
 
She continued, “When we may be tempted to despair, what encourages me most, is seeing those in our community who are stepping up and answering an unprecedented call to serve our community.”
