McMorris Responds to the State of the Union Address

(Washington, D.C.)  Congresswoman Cathy McMorris (WA-05) today made the following statement following President Bush's State of the Union speech:

 

"I applaud the President's bold vision for securing freedom around the world and providing opportunity for all Americans here at home," said Congresswoman McMorris. "The President's message was one of optimism. He addressed a number of issues important to the people of Eastern Washington including the need to reduce regulations so small businesses can create jobs; providing affordable, quality health care and ensuring we have a reliable energy supply.”

 

"I look forward to working with the President and Republicans and Democrats in Congress to continue to focus on issues important to our national and economic security."
