McMorris Rodgers Hosts Second Annual Funding Workshop

(Washington, D.C.)  Congresswoman Cathy McMorris announced she will be holding her Funding Workshop on Monday, April 9th from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m at Centerplace, 2426 North Discovery Place Spokane Valley, WA. The workshop will include information on funding opportunities at the federal, state, and local levels; partnering with like-minded organizations; characteristics of successful grant and funding requests; and avoiding common application mistakes.

“It is important that our businesses and community groups have all the resources and information they need in order to capitalize on funding opportunities,” said McMorris Rodgers. “There are federal dollars available for community infrastructure and projects and our goal is to make sure people know what avenues to take so these funds are accessible.”

The workshop will include information booths by government agencies, breakout sessions, panel discussions, as well as special presentations by:

  • Terry Lawhead, Community Trade and Economic Development
