McMorris Rodgers Receives U.S. Chamber Spirit of Enterprise Award
Washington, D.C. –Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA), Vice Chair of the House Republican Conference, was honored today by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and presented with their Spirit of Enterprise Award for supporting legislation critical to the American business community during the first session of the 112th Congress.

McMorris Rodgers. “The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is an outstanding leader for America’s job creators, and I’ve enjoyed working with them on shared priorities, including tax relief, removing harmful regulations, expanding free trade, and promoting common-sense health care reform.”

Eligibility for the Chamber’s Spirit of Enterprise Award is based on how Members of Congress vote on key business issues. According to their scorecard, Rep. McMorris Rodgers earned a 100% rating this year and collectively holds a 91% ranking during her tenure in Congress.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the world’s largest business federation representing the interests of more than 3 million businesses of all sizes, sectors, and regions, as well as state and local chambers and industry associations.
