Our Nation’s Highest Military Honor

The Medal of Honor is our nation’s highest military honor, reserved only for those who have distinguished themselves by incredible acts of valor. But it is so much more than that. It’s a symbol of courage, integrity, sacrifice, commitment, and patriotism – the traits that make up the very moral fabric America is known for.

Today, on National Medal of Honor Day, we recognize each of the fearless men and women who have had this honor bestowed on them. Their actions that earned them this medal are nothing short of heroic. We also pause to remember those recipients who never made it back home, giving their final breath on the battlefield for our country. They are American heroes, and they will never be forgotten.

While we will never be able to repay the debt we owe to these individuals for their service to our country, we will always remember their unwavering dedication to their country and willingness to put it all on the line. May God bless them and their families today and every day.
