The Supreme Court Agrees
Great news! The Supreme Court just handed down a huge victory for farmers, ranchers and landowners.
In its Sackett v. EPA decision, the court told the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) it had no business regulating a distinct wetland as a “navigable water” under the Waters of the United States (WOTUS) rule. The ruling sent an important message to the EPA: Landowners have rights.
I’ve been proud to block federal overreach on WOTUS, including helping pass a resolution in the House of Representatives recently to reverse the Biden administration’s latest flawed rule.
I am glad to see the highest court in our nation send a clear message to the Biden administration on WOTUS, and I’ll keep fighting the Biden EPA’s attempts to regulate every ditch and mud puddle in America.
