Top Democrat Strategists See the Problems with Obamacare

Pat Caddell has consulted on Democratic campaigns for decades going back as far as the 1972 campaign of George McGovern and Doug Schoen is the former top pollster for Bill Clinton.  These two old hands feel Democrats are dooming themselves by choosing to ignore the fact the Americans do not want a government takeover of health care.

The first woman to serve as White House Press Secretary, Dee Dee Myers, feels that Obama needs to get out and talk with the people and that he’s lost touch.  Perhaps that’s the reason he doesn’t realize that his healthcare plan has been rejected by the people.
