PASSED |
H.R. 2 | To authorize funds for Federal-aid highways, highway safety programs, and transit programs, and for other purposes | NO | Infrastructure is an important way to invest in ourselves and is normally a bipartisan issue. Unfortunately, the Moving Forward Act is yet another example of how the Democrats are putting politics over progress. This partisan wish list for infrastructure has no chance of becoming law. Instead of advancing bipartisan solutions on rural broadband deployment, vehicle safety improvements, and American clean energy, Speaker Pelosi decided to rush through a partisan bill. I gave a floor speech in opposition which you can watch by clicking here. |

PASSED |
H.R. 1425 | Patient Protection and Affordable Care Enhancement Act | NO | This partisan bill extends the tax credits for Obamacare without a way to pay for them and would threaten states with federal spending cuts to force them to expand Medicaid. Most horrifically, it reverses the ban on federal funds being used to fund abortion. |

PASSED |
H.R. 5332 | Protecting Your Credit Score Act of 2019 | NO | This bill would eliminate important information used in creating credit scores. This would make them less useful to financial institutions when determining credit and lead to higher loan costs for the average American. |

PASSED |
H.R. 7301 | Emergency Housing Protections and Relief Act of 2020 | NO | This legislation is a redundant and unfunded $100 billion expenditure. Local, state, and the federal governments are spending record amounts to help renters and have adequate avenues to distribute additional funds if they are needed. |

PASSED |
H.J.Res. 90 | Providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency relating to “Community Reinvestment Act Regulations” | NO | Overturns an important new rule on how banks are rated that are a critical step in ensuring prosperity for all Americans, and the final rule increases support for and investment in small businesses, small- and family-owned farms, Indian Country, and distressed communities. Overturning this rule will hurt all these groups. |
