H.R. 1595  SAFE Banking Act of 2019 YES While I am concerned about the consequences of legalizing Marijuana, Washington has decided to move in this direction. Currently, Washington banks cannot take funds from the Marijuana industry, which means that cash has been piling up and creating dangerous situations. The safety of our community is one of my top priorities, which is why I voted to allow banks to stop the flow of cash onto our streets.

H.R. 3525 U.S. Border Patrol Medical Screening Standards Act NO This legislation would require that the Department of Homeland Security establish an electronic health record database for illegal immigrants within 90 days of being signed into law. SUSPENSION BILLS

**A suspension bill is a bill passed by the House through suspending the rules to move quickly, circumventing the House Rules Committee. Suspension bills are typically less controversial pieces of legislation, and as the rules are being suspended, they require a higher threshold, two-thirds of those voting in the House, to pass. Additionally, these bills are often passed by a voice vote, without a formal roll call vote.
