Confronting Antisemitism with Moral Clarity

In the days since Hamas terrorists brutally attacked Israel, evil has cast its dark shadow over some of those around us. On some of our nation’s most prestigious college campuses, antisemitism has reared its ugly head  as reports of violence and chants of “from the river to the sea” have left our Jewish students feeling isolated and unsafe.

What’s worse is that college administrators are allowing this to happen without consequence. In a horrifying display of antisemitism on Capitol Hill this week, the presidents of Harvard, MIT, and the University of Pennsylvania refused to identify calls for genocide against Jews as harrasment unless acted upon. Watch for yourself:

Enough is enough. We cannot allow Hamas sympathizers to use fear and intimidation to bully those who stand with Israel any longer. That’s why I joined my colleagues in the House this week in passing a resolution to once again reaffirm our commitment to Israel and condemn in the strongest terms the dangerous rise in antisemitic violence we’ve seen across the United States.

You can read the resolution here.
