McMorris Rodgers, House of Representatives Pass Resolution to Stand With Israel

Washington, D.C. – Eastern Washington Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers (WA-05) issued the following statement after the House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed a bipartisan resolution she helped lead (H.Res. 771) to reaffirm the United States’ support for Israel and condemn Hamas for their violent acts of terror:

“The People’s House is open and ready to stand united with the people of Israel. This bipartisan resolution, which comes as our nation faces a disturbing rise in pro-Hamas protests and blatant anti-Semitism, is the first of many actions we are prepared to take to show our unwavering support for our closest ally in the Middle East. We will stand side-by-side with Israel and its people as they confront the evil and violent Hamas terrorists threatening their very existence, and we will continue to lead with the moral clarity necessary to meet this moment.”

H.Res. 771 passed the House of Representatives by a vote of 412-10.
