How did we get here?

Our economy is in bad shape. Prices are rising, wages are flat, and retirement accounts are tumbling. Eastern Washington is not immune, families are struggling. I continue to hear from people that the rising costs of groceries and other basic necessities are burdening your family. 

One thing is clear – people are struggling. They are begging for some relief from sky-high inflation that is making everyday life unaffordable. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like any help is on the way from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, where President Biden seems more interested in spinning the numbers rather than working with Republicans to get our economy back on track.

When it comes to inflation, President Biden claims he’s “got it.” But I think the American people would beg to differ. It’s time to stop this administration’s spending addiction that is making this crisis worse and reverse the economic devastation caused by their out-of-touch policies.
