WASHINGTON, DC – Senator Maria Cantwell (WA) and Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers (WA-05) will host a joint roundtable discussion with a wide range of experts who were on the ground during recent fires. Across Eastern Washington communities were hit by the worst fire season on record. Cantwell and McMorris Rodgers will hear from elected leaders and first responders from cities and counties affected by these fires—from Asotin County to Ferry County—as well as business and community leaders involved in firefighting efforts.
