Hello,

I hope you had a great holiday season and a happy new year! I’m excited about what 2019 has to offer and am ready to get to work to continue getting results for you and your family. With ten bills passed in the House and seven signed into law, as the Spokesman-Review said, last year was a “historically productive” legislative year for me, and I want to keep that momentum going. I plan to keep listening and hearing from people in our communities, and then going back to the nation’s capital to get results on your behalf. Looking forward to this new year, what’s the most important issue on your mind? Let me know by taking this quick survey:

Here is a look at my work last Congress by the numbers:

169,819 – Emails, letters, and phone calls to constituents who reached out

3,646 – Constituents who enjoyed a Capitol tour from my staff

945 – Meetings held with constituents

580 – Constituents and their families helped through casework

197 – Flags ordered through our office and flown over the Capitol

180 – Veterans my office helped navigate the VA to receive the care they earned

12 – Public town hall events I hosted

10 – Bills passed in the House

7 – Bills signed into law

This Congress, I was also proud to secure more than $85 million in grant funding for Eastern Washington infrastructure projects like rebuilding our roads, bridges, and airports, and investing in public transportation. This grant funding will bring real results back here to our cities and towns.

Recently, I launched an interactive map on my website to be more accountable and transparent to you. In case you missed it, you can learn more about my meetings this year here:

Looking forward, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me or my office if you ever need help with a federal agency or want to have your voice heard on the important issues of the day. I’m proud to represent you and work hard each and every day to get results for you and your family.

Warmly,

Cathy
