Washington D.C.—Today, Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers (WA-05), a pro-life mom of three and a leader on the Energy and Commerce Committee, delivered remarks at a legislative hearing Democrat’s led on an extreme measure to lift limits on abortions in America.

After talking about her own journey to becoming a mother to three children, including her son with Down syndrome, Cathy said:

“Our country needs hope. America needs hope and healing. Abortion doesn’t bring hope or healing. There is a despair that has come over our country. Do you know what despair is? It’s a complete lack of hope. It’s hopelessness.

“I urge my colleagues to reconsider this legislation.”

Yesterday before today’s hearing, Cathy also shared her pro-life story of becoming a mom. CLICK HERE or below to read and share her not-to-be-missed thread.
