McMorris Rodgers Announces Grant Workshop
(Washington, D.C.) Congresswoman Cathy McMorris (WA-05) announced today that she is holding a funding workshop in Spokane on Friday, March 24th at Whitworth College. The workshop will include presentations by key federal, state and community partners on how to maximize funding opportunities for projects and businesses in Eastern Washington.
"One of my top priorities is to provide economic growth for Eastern Washington," said McMorris. "It is important that our businesses and community groups have all the resources and information they need in order to capitalize on funding opportunities. There are federal dollars available for community infrastructure and projects and our goal is to make sure people know what avenues to take so these funds are accessible."
The workshop will focus on funding opportunities at the federal, state, and local levels; partnering with other organizations to strengthen funding requests; and providing tips on successful grant and funding requests.
The workshop will include information booths by government agencies, breakout sessions, panel discussions, as well as special presentations by:
