Rep. McMorris Rodgers Reaffirms Commitment to Benghazi Investigation as One-Year Anniversary Approaches

WASHINGTON, D.C.– Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) released the following statement today to mark the one-year anniversary of the attack on the American Embassy in Benghazi on September 11, 2012:

“This week we memorialize the four brave Americans who tragically lost their lives at the American Embassy in Benghazi last year.  As we pay homage to their legacy, we are emboldened in our search for answers.  Our oversight investigation in the House is still ongoing.  I remain more committed than ever to provide answers about what happened in Benghazi and to hold the President accountable to the American people.  Four brave Americans lost their lives in this attack, and we will continue our search for answers until we determine who was responsible.”
