Taking A Stand Against Iraq’s Anti-Israel Agenda
Earlier this year, Iraq passed a new law making normalization with Israel punishable by death. This backwards policy is deeply disturbing, and it is crucial we send a clear message that the United States will not stand for it.

In case you missed it, this isn’t our caucus’s first effort to help bring peace and security in the region. Last month, we introduced the DEFEND Act to help develop a strategy for Abraham Accords and other countries to combat Iranian aggression, and we continue to make important progress moving it through the House.
I’m confident our efforts will help unite us all around the foundational values of liberty and promote democracy around the world. I look forward to continuing this critical work with my colleagues on the Abraham Accords Caucus to ensure the United States always stands with our Israeli allies.
