McMorris Rodgers Announces $3 Million Grant for the Spokane Transit Authority

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Eastern Washington Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers (WA-05) announced the approval of a nearly $3 million grant from the Department of Transportation to the Spokane Transit Authority to replace, rehabilitate, or purchase buses and related equipment and to construct bus-related facilities in the Spokane community. 

“This grant shows the Trump administration’s continued support for Eastern Washington communities,” said McMorris Rodgers. “This grant will continue to help the Spokane Transit Authority meet its mission to provide safe, accessible, convenient, and efficient public transportation to our community and businesses. Thank you to Secretary Chao for investing in public transportation and infrastructure in Eastern Washington.”
